I look weird!
Today after JJ and I went to vote, we had to go to laundry mat to do our laundry. Well on our way back into town JJ had an accident. Wanting to be able to wash those clothes that he had just peed in we stopped at Wal-mart to get some clothes to change into. He was in need of a few more pairs of long pants anyways. So we I find a shirt on clearance for $2.00 and a pair of pants for cheap. So we buy them and back to the car to change. Well once JJ puts on his pants and realizes that they are not shorts he totally freaks out. He just keeps screaming I look weird in these pants I can't go do Laundry I look weird. I'm thinking you are three years old we can't really be concerned on how you look yet. Well he pretty much had a tantrum over looking weird until his shorts were washed and dried and he could put them on again. I'm sure the whole laundry mat cheered when we finally left and they could do their laundry in peace and quiet.

8 Random things
1. I love cold pizza for breakfast, I actually prefer it over hot pizza for dinner.
2. I love to read cheesy LDS romance novels, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.
3. I sometimes get obsessed with 10 for $10.00 at the grocery store. I once bought 100 boxes of capri suns when they were on sale and over 100 boxes of cereal. I just can't help myself.
4. I love to sleep in. It doesn't happen very often but when the chance arises I take it.
5. I am petrified of rodents. Even the hampsters and gerbils in the pet store totally creep me out.
6. I love to take hot scalding showers, I like the water hot enough so that my skin is lobster red when I get out of the shower.
7. I enjoy making breakfast I think it's the best meal of the day.
8. I hate cleaning the bathroom. It's my least favorite chore. I don't know what it is I just hate doing it.

Repost: My experiences in the Wilderness
Well I already typed this 2 days ago but had some technical difficulties. This tends to happen when everything you uses runs on a battery or a generator. Let's see life in Mescal, no electricity, no running water, sleeping in a tent, throwing up in bushes, using a port-a-potty and freezing cold showers. Sounds luxurious, I know. Actually all things considered it's not to bad out here. I'm grateful to have the port-a-potty considering my other alternative. Also I haven't had to scrub a toilet in over a month. And JJ has finally potty trained using that blessed port-a-potty. As for no electricity it's not to bad. We borrowed a nice generator from someone in the ward so we can finally have some lights in the evening. When you really start from nothing life can only get better. I will have to admit that I will enjoy this experience more when someone finally rents or buys our home. Right now we look like crazy people paying mortgage on a home and living in a tent.

I Love Summer Break
This morning I was at swim team and I was listening to two mom's complain about summer break and how hard it is to keep their kids entertained, and I thought to myself I love summer vacation. So I thought I would list what I love about summer break:
1. I don't have to pack any lunches.
2. J.J has 5 other people to entertain him
3. Weekly trips to the library
4. Watching my kids devour their library books
5. Earning free tickets to Breakers Water Park from reading all those books
6. Free 10:00a.m. Movies at the theater(who cares if they're older movies, the theater is air conditioned.
7.Swim team
8. Swimming, Swimming and more Swimming.
9.Simple dinners that don't heat the house
10.Hanging out with the kids during the day just trying to stay cool in the house.
11. Going to Utah
12. And best of all I don't have to take JJ shopping he can stay home with the kids.
So I say to the ladies at the pool relax, have fun and let your house get messy, the kids will be back in school soon enough.

Faking Sick
Yesterday morning Scott went to wake Jared up for church and he usually just pops right out of bed as soon as you walk in his room. Well yesterday he would not wake up he kept saying he was tired. Well when he discovered we were not going to leave him alone he said "I sick , my stomach hurt. I can't go " He didn't have a fever or loss of appetite or any other symptom that would indcate that he was sick. He just kept saying I sick. Well Brooke wasn't feeling very well so in hopes of enjoying a quiet sacrament meeting I went along with it and let Brooke and JJ stay home. (I know it was wrong) Well last night Scott asked Jared if he was going to go to church next week JJ's reply was "no I be sick."

What is going on with Eegees?
I'm not sure what is going on with Eegee's but something must be done about it. All year long I ever so patiently wait for the month of May to come. And what is it I am waiting for you may ask. Only the most delicous flavor of the month at Eegee's Bananna Blush. For several years I spend Scott's hard earned money at Eegee's all through the month of May. Any reason I can find I buy the party pack full of Bananna Blush. Well the other day as I passed Eegee's and as I looked longingly over totheir sign expecting to see Bananna Blush in bold letters, I did not. Much to my dismay the sign said Cherry Cider. WHAT? Cherry cider who wants Cherry cider. I'm not sure what's going on. But intend to get to the bottom of this. Really Cherry Cider give me a break.

Womens Conference
Is anyone interested in going to Women's conference? Thought I would ask before I book my airline tickets. If I can drive and split gas even better. Tickets are rather pricey so I thought I would check out all my options. If you are interested let me know.
